Lean On Me Doberman Rescue

Lean On Me Doberman Rescue was founded in 2007 by a small group of rescuers that share a common passion - the Doberman Pinscher breed! Many of our volunteers are past members of various rescue organizations and have had many, many years of experience with the Doberman breed.

Our mission is to provide educational services about training, altering, and the humane care of dogs and to also promote good canine citizenship. LOMDR is dedicated to saving abused, abandoned, surrendered, and homeless Dobermans. Our goal is to restore to good health, rehabilitate, and place them into safe and loving permanent homes. We work as a network of qualified foster homes and exist solely on donations and money raised.

Lean On Me Doberman Rescue is licensed by the Illinois Department of Agriculture as an approved animal shelter. We are a 501c3, Not for Profit Organization and a corporation in the State of Illinois composed solely of volunteers. Our purpose is to educate the public about rescue, to promote responsible dog ownership, and to reduce the abuse and neglect of Doberman Pinscher dogs. .
